Is our tallow deodorized?

Absolutely not. The tallow skincare industry has become tainted, and many brands are outsourcing their tallow from mass producers who mix in trim fat, deodorize, and add other chemicals to mask the smell. We hand-pick suet tallow during our monthly farm visits and render it in-house. It never leaves our hands.

Do you use organic ingredients?

Yes! When possible, we source our ingredients from organic sources. All of our herbs and oils used for infusions are always organic.

Does your tallow smell beefy?

Tallow has a slight smell due to it being an animal product, and every batch is different since it's made by hand. Our tallow products do not smell beefy. Our formulas are designed to help you enjoy tallow without the beefy smell.

How do you render your tallow?

Our tallow is always hand-rendered and triple-filtered. This means just the suet fat is melted low and slow and then filtered multiple times to ensure any impurities are removed.
