FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Q: How big is this candle?
A: Each cup is filled with 4.65 oz of soy wax, and the vessel is approximately 4.25" wide (with handle) × 2 5/8" tall.
Q: What does it smell like?
A: It’s a classic Coffee Shop profile: brewed coffee on top, caramel and sugar in the middle, and a creamy vanilla-and-milk base.
Q: Will the cup look perfectly new?
A: No—this is a vintage piece, so subtle wear, glaze variations, or minor age marks may be present and are part of its character.
Q: Can I reuse the teacup after the candle is finished?
A: Yes—once the wax is fully gone, you can clean the cup and repurpose it for small items or display (avoid using for food unless you specifically validate it as food-safe).
Frequently asked questions
What type of wax do you use?
We use 100% natural soy wax for all of our candles. It's eco-friendly, burns clean, and provides a longer lasting, even burn.
How do I remove the wax from the vessel?
When it comes to cleaning out candle wax from your vessel, there are a few methods that do the trick, but here are two refreshingly easy ones: The freezer method: Place the jar in your freezer overnight. The wax will freeze and peel off the sides of the jar. After the night (or a few hours depending on the amount of wax), you can remove the jar and remove the wax very easily with a knife. Wash the rest away to give it a new life! Hot water method: This is a tip we recommend for vessels made with a thick glass or material (too thin, there is a risk that the thin glass will shatter). Boil water in a saucepan Then pour this boiling water into the candle jar. Only fill the jar halfway as the wax will rise to the surface on its own Let stand until the water is cold and the wax is on the surface Remove the wax and clean the jar
