FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Q: Is this candle one-of-a-kind?
A: Yes—each vintage vessel is a unique find, so once it sells, it typically won’t be restocked in the exact same piece.
Q: What does Bourbon Fig & Pear smell like?
A: It opens with pear and spice, moves into bourbon and fig, and finishes with caramel, sandalwood, and tonka for a warm, elegant sweetness.
Q: Can I put the lid on while it’s burning?
A: No—always burn with the lid off, and let the wax fully cool before replacing the lid.
Q: What can I do with the bowl after the candle is finished?
A: Clean out remaining wax and reuse it as a sugar bowl, trinket dish, or decorative keepsake on a shelf or table.
Frequently asked questions
What type of wax do you use?
We use 100% natural soy wax for all of our candles. It's eco-friendly, burns clean, and provides a longer lasting, even burn.
How do I remove the wax from the vessel?
When it comes to cleaning out candle wax from your vessel, there are a few methods that do the trick, but here are two refreshingly easy ones: The freezer method: Place the jar in your freezer overnight. The wax will freeze and peel off the sides of the jar. After the night (or a few hours depending on the amount of wax), you can remove the jar and remove the wax very easily with a knife. Wash the rest away to give it a new life! Hot water method: This is a tip we recommend for vessels made with a thick glass or material (too thin, there is a risk that the thin glass will shatter). Boil water in a saucepan Then pour this boiling water into the candle jar. Only fill the jar halfway as the wax will rise to the surface on its own Let stand until the water is cold and the wax is on the surface Remove the wax and clean the jar
