Product description
Snack Attack is our hearty snack mix of smoked cheddar crackers, pecans, and beef jerky. The Habanero version brings the heat with habanero jerky. It’s built for heat seekers who want a real snack, not just a handful of crackers.
A little about us
Spivey-Q is a third-generation family BBQ business based in Irving, Texas, with roots in Georgia. It started with Henry Spivey, an Army cook in World War II who became a butcher. In 1974, his son Curtis began hosting backyard BBQs for friends and family, and that’s the same year Jeremy Spivey was born. Jeremy grew up tending the late-night hickory fires at those cookouts and carries the tradition forward today with Spivey-Q.
The lineup ranges from no-heat to habanero. Anything is an elevated SPG built for brisket. Jittery Jones blends chocolate and coffee. Cajun Sunrise brings cayenne and espresso. Smokin’ Hot! adds habanero for the heat seekers. Tacos & More is a fresher take on Tex-Mex seasoning. Coffee shows up in more of our blends than you’d expect, and that’s on purpose.
Real flavor, built on decades of smoke.
Frequently asked questions
What makes Spivey-Q different?
Coffee. It goes into four of our five blends (Anything, Jittery Jones, Cajun Sunrise, and Smokin’ Hot!) and adds depth that a standard rub doesn’t have. Behind every blend is a third-generation BBQ family with Georgia roots and a Texas home base. Which seasonings are spicy? No heat: Jittery Jones Mild: Anything Mild to medium: Tacos & More Medium: Cajun Sunrise Hot: Smokin’ Hot!
What’s best for brisket?
Anything. It’s an elevated salt, pepper, and garlic blend with coffee, built for Texas-style brisket. It’s also great on chicken and other beef cuts.
What’s best for wings and ribs?
Cajun Sunrise if you want medium heat, or Smokin’ Hot! if you want more of a kick.
I don’t eat much red meat. What should I try?
Jittery Jones works on salmon, chicken, pork, and vegetables. Tacos & More works with ground turkey or chicken.
What’s the difference between Cajun Sunrise and Smokin’ Hot!?
Smokin’ Hot! is Cajun Sunrise with habanero added. Our customers asked for a hotter version, so we made one.
