FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Q: Is this coffee best for espresso or filter?
A: It’s designed to be flexible—brew it as pour-over or drip at a medium roast, or enjoy it darker as espresso for extra richness.
Q: What does “fully washed” mean for flavor?
A: Fully washed coffees typically taste cleaner and more structured, helping the chocolate-caramel notes come through with a smooth finish.
Q: What tasting notes should I expect?
A: Look for savory smoothness with chocolate and caramel, plus a subtle earthy, garden-vegetable character that adds uniqueness.
Q: Should I choose whole bean or ground?
A: Whole bean stays fresher longer and is ideal if you have a grinder; ground is convenient if you want great coffee with zero setup.
A little about us
Frequently asked questions
Do you have a llama at your shop?
Yes! And no? Stuffed animals, inflatables, figurines all exist and are scattered throughout our shop. Llamas that require food, water and poop management are not in our shop. That would be weird.
Can I pick up an order at your shop?
Absolutely! Once you place an order, we'll coordinate a pick-up time. We don't keep regular hours and are often out with our food truck or coffee cart.
Are you certified organic?
Our facility is not certified organic at this time. Organic certification is quite complex and begins at origin. A large number of farms are already organic by nature, as they do not have the means or funds available for pesticides or fertilizers, which also means they do not have the funds to secure a USDA organic certification. On our end, we would need to process only organic coffee, have two separate operations or an in-depth cleaning process when switching from non-organic to organic. While we support organic practices, we also choose to support small farms, USDA label notwithstanding.
