Mama Ethel's Herbal Infusions is a handcrafted, all-natural skin and hair care company named after my grandmother Ethel, who raised me in Chicago. I spent more than thirty years watching and listening to her work, and her hands-on care is in everything I make.
I started Mama Ethel's in 2017. Every product is made from my own formulas in small batches, with 3 to 6 simple ingredients, so you always know what you're putting on your body. Our body butters are made with 100% pure Shea or Mango butter. Many store-bought products contain only a small amount of real butter.

Simple, all-natural ingredients, usually 3 to 6 per product. Our body butters start with 100% pure Shea or Mango butter, and our shampoo is made with Castile soap, coconut milk, and honey.
What's the difference between White Label and Black Label?
White Label is whipped to absorb quickly with no greasy feel, so it's great for anytime use. Black Label is our premium, pure formula for deep, full hydration.
Can I use body butter on my face?
Yes. Our body butters can be used from head to toe. For a lighter daily option, try our face cream.
Are your products vegan?
Our body butters and hair care line are vegan. Our natural soaps and beard butter contain non-vegan ingredients (goat milk and beeswax).
How long does body butter last?
6 to 12 months at room temperature, and longer if refrigerated.
Why do some scents say "(Type)"?
"(Type)" means the scent is inspired by a well-known fragrance. It is not the original brand
