I joined to help someone — a consultant I had never even met — win a Zi piece in honor of her daughter. I had no intentions of ever becoming a consultant. But I’m a helper by nature, and when my now-sponsor Tammy Bush Hamilton shared her goal with me, I was determined to help her achieve it. So, I signed on the dotted line.

That starter kit sat untouched in the corner of my room for months. Until one day, Tammy called and asked if I’d opened it. My answer? "No, it’s collecting dust."
