The company was founded in 2018 in San Diego by Marc Narrie, who began roasting coffee on a hot air popcorn maker in his kitchen. Buddha Beans makes single-origin coffee infused with broad-spectrum CBD during small-batch roasting using its ZenFusion process, rather than spraying CBD on after roasting. It focuses on pairing specialty-grade single-origin coffee with organically grown hemp and producing consistent per-cup dosing.
